Lights! Camera! Action!
I’ve made short films, videos, commercials, and a feature-length movie.
For me, making a film has always been about more than simply pointing a camera and recording what happens. There is something fascinating about taking an idea and turning it into something people can experience.
A story, a setting, a person, a moment—each can take on an entirely different life once it reaches the screen.
Over the years, I’ve experimented with different kinds of filmmaking. Some projects are carefully planned, while others come together extemporaneously with whatever resources are available at the time.
Each project brings its own challenges and opportunities. Where I find (and hopefully give) the most value is in the twist—some sort of surprise. I detest the ordinary.
Here are a few examples of my work.
